The TRAK Tip-to-Tip Warranty
We want our customers to be happy paddlers. If you have any issues with your TRAK, simply call us or send an email to support@trakkayaks.com, and we will work with you to get you paddling again. Your satisfaction is very important to us.
Please register your new TRAK here.
Each new TRAK Kayak purchased after April 15, 2025 comes with a seven (7) year warranty on all skin and frame assembly components included with purchase, including the following items:
TRAK Skin
TRAK Bow and Stern Frames
TRAK Carbon Fiber Ribs
TRAK Hydraulic Jacks
TRAK Coaming
TRAK Seat
These items are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of seven (7) years from the date of purchase. The warranty is valid only if the warranty registration has been filed with TRAK within 60 days of receipt of order.
While there are additional ‘soft goods’ and accessories included with the purchase of a new TRAK 2.0, these items are not covered by TRAK’s (7) seven year warranty due to high potential for excessive wear and tear. These items will be replaced free of charge if a manufacturing defect is identified within 60 days of delivery:
TRAK 60L Gear Floatation Dry Bag
TRAK Custom Spray Deck
TRAK Sea Sock (Nylon or Aquatherm)
TRAK Rolling Travel Bag
TRAK’s warranty does not cover cosmetic damage, normal wear and tear, abrasions, or damage resulting from excessive use, abuse, alteration, or unauthorized repair. Additionally, it does not cover improper use, improper storage, neglect, or natural UV degradation of colors. For example, if you paddle your TRAK onto coral or other sharp objects and cause damage to your skin, we will not be able to replace your skin under warranty (but we can advise on repair, or help you get a deal on a replacement).
TRAK kayaks purchased prior to April 15, 2025 retain a five year warranty from the date of delivery, granted that the warranty registration has been filed with TRAK within 60 days of receipt of order.
TRAK Outdoors Ltd. is not liable for any injury or loss incurred as a result of the use of this product. The user of this product acknowledges and assumes any risks associated with such use and waives any and all claims against TRAK Outdoors Ltd, its agents and assigns. In no event shall TRAK be held liable for incidental or consequential damages beyond the purchase price of the product.

TRAK will replace or repair all items returned under warranty at its discretion and is the sole judge as to the warrantability and as to whether a kayak will be repaired or replaced.
(We use common sense when it comes to these matters. We expect you will too.)
