Returns & Cancellation Policy
Cancellation/ Change Policy
We should be able to change or cancel the order before it is shipped out. Reach us via email at help@olfactoryfactoryllc.com for any change/ cancellation requests. Once the item is shipped, it will be considered a return request.
RETURN POLICY
Our return policy lasts up to 15 days from the date of delivery. We do not offer returns/refunds for any orders outside the US. All international sales will be final.
Samples and sample sets are non-returnable and non-refundable.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. We will supply you with a return shipping label, and return shipping costs + 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.
If the seal is opened or if the product is used, there will be a minimum of 20% restocking fee (This could increase depending on the level of usage).
Your return shipment will be inspected, and we will process the refund to your original method of payment or store credit. Please allow us two days to process the refund once we receive the product back.
SHIPPING INSURANCE POLICY
At Olfactoryfactory LLC, we strive to ensure every order reaches you safely and on time. Shipping insurance is automatically included with your order to protect against loss, damage, or delivery issues. However, we encourage all customers to read the following policy carefully to understand the coverage and responsibilities involved.
1. Initial Steps
If you experience any delivery issues, we strongly recommend first contacting your local FedEx / UPS / USPS office to investigate the matter. This step often helps in locating delayed or misdelivered packages.
2. Porch Piracy / Delivery Fraud
If tracking information shows the package was delivered but you suspect theft (commonly referred to as porch piracy or friendly neighborhood fraud), we’re here to support you in filing an insurance claim. However, for such cases:
You must provide either:
Proof of theft, such as video evidence from a doorbell camera, home security system, or neighborhood CCTV, or
A police report documenting the incident
Without one of these, we cannot process an insurance claim or refund, even if shipping insurance was selected at checkout. This measure helps us prevent fraudulent claims and ensures fairness for all customers.
3. Opting Out of Shipping Insurance
If you choose to deactivate shipping insurance at checkout:
You assume full responsibility for the package once it leaves our facility
Olfactoryfactory LLC will not be liable for loss, theft, or damage
You waive the right to request compensation or support in case of delivery issues
This opt-out choice is available to give customers flexibility but comes with the understanding that our liability ends once the package is handed to the carrier.
